Block Prints, Paintings on Rice Paper, Decorative Lampshades

About Me

I am a textile/surface designer with years of experience creating designs & woodcuts using custom mixed inks evoking Ottoman and Persian influences for the decorative and interiors markets as well as the fashion industry. I have sold my designs to most of the major design and fabric houses as well as in retail since 1980.   My style can be bold graphic, historical documentary, botanical, or an ethnic  layering of innovative techniques. I am inspired by nature, architecture,  travel, and all of the arts. My printed fabrics were used in the 1999 Heimtextil Trend Hall. In 2007 I began decorating one of a kind

lampshades  and have been featured in HOUSE BEAUTIFUL and STYLE 1900.  I am available for custom projects and can create pairs or similar shades looking good as pairs.
